Lara Ketter is a native Kansan and the author of Another Christmas Without You, her debut novel that was published in November of 2019. She is currently writing her second novel that is set in 1993 in a bakery called The Coconut Cream Cafe in Manhattan, KS, with plans to publish in the Spring of 2025.
Other books she has written include: Funny Sh*t That Happened on the Farm, My Pageant Addiction, Not This Lifetime I’ve Got a Headache, and two books in the Marvelous Max series for young readers. Lara has worked as a writer, author, and editor for 25-plus years.
She graduated from Kansas State University in 1993 with a degree in communications and a minor in music theater. Lara lives on a farm near Tipton, Kansas, with a guy she calls Farmer Husband. Their daughter, Jenna, lives in Ft. Worth, Texas; their oldest son, Alex, has joined the family farming business; and their son, Max, is a senior in high school.
